Sec. 5.66 Discontinuance of station operation.
In case of a permanent discontinuance of operation of a fixed or
land station in the Experimental Radio Service, or in case of permanent
discontinuance of operation of all transmitter units listed in the
license for a mobile station in the Experimental Radio Service, the
licensee shall forward the station license to the Washington, D.C.,
office of the Commission for cancellation. A copy of the request for
cancellation of the license shall be forwarded to the Commission's
Engineer in Charge of the radio district in which the station is
located.
