Sec. 64.1507 Prohibition on disconnection or interruption of service for failure
to remit pay-per-call and similar service charges.
No common carrier shall disconnect or interrupt in any manner, or order the
disconnection or interruption of, a telephone subscriber's local exchange or
long distance telephone service as a result of that subscriber's failure to
pay:
(a) Charges for interstate pay-per-call service;
(b) Charges for interstate information services provided pursuant to a
presubscription or comparable arrangement; or
(c) Charges for interstate information services provided on a collect basis
which have been disputed by the subscriber.
