Sec.  80.957   Principal operating position.

   (a) The principal operating position of the radiotelephone installation must
   be on the bridge, convenient to the conning position.

   (b) When the radiotelephone station is not located on the bridge,
   operational control of the equipment must be provided at the location of the
   radiotelephone station and at the bridge operating position. Complete
   control of the equipment at the bridge operating position must be provided.
