  §  1.1151   Authority to prescribe and collect regulatory fees.

   Authority to impose and collect regulatory fees is contained in section
   9 of the Communications Act, as amended by sections 101-103 of title I
   of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115-141, 132
   Stat. 1084), 47 U.S.C. 159, which directs the Commission to prescribe
   and collect annual regulatory fees to recover the cost of carrying out
   the functions of the Commission.
