- 5014 7494 NOTICE OF VIOLATION On December 10, 2003, agents of the FCC's San Juan Office responding to a complaint of interference to the broadcast STL frequency of 942.5000 MHz, observed spurious radio transmissions from SkyTel's 940.20-940.25 MHz transmitter located in Crown Castle's facilities (Tower ID - 1059383) in Bayamon, PR . The following violation(s) were observed: 47 C.F.R. § 24.131: The authorized bandwidth of narrowband PCS channels will be 10 KHz for 12.5 kHz channels and 45 kHz for 50 KHz channels. At the time of the investigation, 12:30 PM AST, the bandwidth of SkyTel's transmitter exceeded this limit causing harmful interference.
